After a few weeks of aging, the taste of the fresh cherries fades away but this does not apply to the Kalamata olives which keep a very good flavor until they become very old, between six months to a year.
14. A simple recipe with 8 ingredients.
Today I was all alone, Ike would be back tomorrow. I didn't have anything to do, so I thought I'd make a small batch of my favorite recipe to share with everyone. I spent about an hour collecting all my ingredients. I had lots of people coming for dinner, so I didn't want to make a huge batch. I wanted it to be a small batch, because if I make a small batch, I know all the ingredients I need and I also know the time it will take. Making a large batch is time consuming and there's always that possibility that you don't have everything you need.
I made a small batch, and then I thought, "I could put it in a jar." So I just filled the jar to the top. It wasn't super full, but I didn't want to make a lot because it's already quite hot outside today, I didn't want it to be too hot.
I used blueberries, cherries, and blackberries. I liked the taste of the combination of the three, they blended really well together. I think I'll make it again.
What I have to say is that I want to thank you for your help. I am very happy with your service. I want to tell you something that will really impress you and it is: even if I am not a big fan of this site, I continue to come here because of the great help that you give to me. I want to see you succeed.
We have sent the second email, but I don't think that we can ever make it to Peru. The cheque is drawn on a Swiss bank and I am not sure that I will be able to get it cashed in Switzerland. Please do not worry about this and I do not think we will need it. I am hoping that we will have the money for the next trip by the time we get there. What's Going On?
The first World War had been going on for over two years when, in November 1914, the second World War began. Germany had declared war on Russia, which invaded Poland and was promptly defeated, and on France, which invaded Belgium. In December 1914, the British Army suffered a disastrous defeat at the hands of the Germans at Mons. Between September 1914 and November 1918, in what became known as the Great War, more than 8,000,000 soldiers died.
This was the first time that men had fought against each other on such a scale.
